I was luckily enough to try this product from BzzAgent and I have to say I am impressed. I love that it has fluoride in it to help keep my mouth in top shape. When I swished this product, there was no burn! This is really important to me because I have sensitive gums. Believe it or not, I could feel my mouth feeling fresh like I just got out of the dentist. It just made my mouth feel really clean.

Joy Williams Venus Album Review

You might recognize Joy Williams from  a four time winning folk/rock duo called The Civil Wars. I personally have never heard of this duo before so I was excited when I got to listen to Venus to figure out just what Joy Williams is about. Williams was going through a bad time between the band's breakup, having baby, trying to save her marriage, and dealing with her Dad's cancer but she made it through it all and she's back with a great new album.

Venus is William's first solo album. You can really tell that Williams put a lot of thought and heart into her songs when you listen to the album. The album has a lot of songs that have to do with what she went through and how she grew as a person.

My favorite song off the album is Welcome Home. Her lyrics and her voice are just so powerful and inspirational. However, her first hit off the album is Woman (Oh Mama). You can check it out below:

Idina Menzel - Holiday Wishes Album Review

I've always been a fan of Idina so I was excited to hear she was coming out with a Christmas album. Christmas is my favorite time of year and this is a great CD to accompany it. Her voice is just so amazing and soothing. She has the perfect mix of mellow songs such as Silent Night and upbeat songs such as Holly Jolly Christmas. You can check out an album preview below:


I just love every song on the album so it's hard to pick a favorite. I've always been a fan of All I Want For Christmas and Baby It's Cold Outside. She does excellent versions of both of these songs. This album is  a great stocking stuffer and is a must have for Christmas.

Mary J. Blige - The London Sessions Album Review

 I've always been a fan of Mary so I was excited when I heard that she was going to be releasing a new album. She's always stayed true to herself and has had lyrics that everyone can relate to. I thought it was really interesting that she decided to do a recording with artists just based out of London. It makes me wonder if she will collaborate with more artists in the future from different countries. You can preview some of the songs from her album below:


I'm used to Mary doing mostly ballads so I was surprised when she did the song called Right Now. It's very dance/club like. It sounds really good and I can see a lot of Djs remixing the song. Everyone will be able to relate to it since it's about a relationship.


 Another one of my favorite songs from the album is called Not Loving You. The reason I really like this song is it's about someone who's going through a lot and life and is having problems picking themselves back up from all of the pain and struggles.

Neil Diamond's Melody Road Album Review

The great news is that this album is out now! You can get a copy at iTunes here or Amazon here. Neil Diamond fans won't be disappointed with this album at all. He has a lot of great songs I just love on the album. Two of my favorite songs are the album are Something Blue and The Art of Love. You can check out the video for these songs below.




The songs that he sings with guitar are the best since they are romantic and really special. He puts a lot of heart and meaning into each and every song on the album.

Advil Film-Coated Ibuprofen Sodium Caplets Review

This Advil product works a lot quicker than the normal Advil. With the regular Advil I always ended up taking multiple pills to get rid of my headaches. With this product I only have to take 1 pill and it worked in about 15 minutes. This also didn't upset my stomach like a lot of film-coated pills and it didn't make me tired.

There are a few downsides to this pill.  It has a weird aftertaste that's similar to vanilla. It also cost quite a bit more than regular Advil but it's worth it. It's also a bigger pill than the normal Advil but I didn't have any issues swallowing it. 

It is known that it can cause heartburn like symptoms so it's recommended that you take this with food and plenty of water.

Overall I recommend this product because of how much quicker it works and how well it works with just one tablet.

Mary Lambert's Heart On My Sleeve Album Review

It's not often that an authentic artist comes along. She really focuses on her music and her lyrics in all of her songs. She does a great job on reflecting her life through her songs. It's no wonder she's collaborated with so many artists such as Mackelmore & Ryan Lewis. Her best song is also #1 right now on the charts: Secrets.


In an interview about her song Secrets she says “I felt like there were a lot of songs coming out about self-empowerment and challenging beauty standards, and I wanted to write a song along those same lines, but in my voice,” she explains. “It's easy to paint a pretty picture and tell everyone to love themselves, but it's way more complicated than that. There is so much shame and guilt in our society, and I think it has deprived a lot of people from living fully. We're all facing battles. We've all had someone who has hurt us, so let's talk about it. I believe vulnerability is what will save the world. I wanted to point the lens at myself in hopes of inspiring others to do the same. This song is my dirty laundry, and that's actually really freeing. Now I can walk around with accidental pieces of bagel in my bra and eat it anyway.”

Vichy Idealia Life Serum

I was really excited when I got picked on Crowdtap to sample Vichy Idealia Life Serum. The scent is light and smells like roses. When I applied it to my skin it felt creamy and it wasn't greasy at all. It also made my skin feel really smooth. After using this product for a few days I could see that  my skin was more radiant and my pores seemed smaller. I had a beauty party with my closest friends and we all shared the Idealia Life Serum. It was a huge hit! All of my friends want to go out and buy this product. The only downside to this product is it's price of around $50-$60 on Amazon.

This product is really amazing! It has a rich lather as well as a great smell. This product helped to keep my legs feeling smooth and hydrated. My legs were left feeling really soft after one use. The shave even looked smoother than using other shaving products. I didn't even have any red bumps on my skin from shaving like I usually do. 

Train's Bulletproof Picasso CD Review

Train's songs have always been catchy and original and this album is just that! Their first single off the album is called Angel In Blue Jeans and you can hear it across the radio nationwide. It has a beat that you just can't help tap your feet to and has lyrics everyone can relate to since it's about finding a long lost love. Check it out below to see what I mean.


If you have any kids you will really like the song Don't Grow Up So Fast. It has to do with kids and their future and the plans they will be making.

This album is worth a listen whether you are a Train fan of not. I'm not much of one myself but I couldn't help but like it.

Litter Genie

Overall I loved the Litter Genie Cat Litter Disposal System. It's quick to use, easy to use, and odorless. It's made out of plastic so it's really durable. I loved how the pail holds up to 2 weeks of waste so I don't have to change the bag out often. The scoop and scoop holder were so useful. They don't take up much space and the litter can fall right through the scoop so that you're not wasting any. This container fits in small spaces which is a plus. The directions were easy to follow and came with pictures to help you. The only complaint I have is the  refill prices for the bags.

David Gray's Mutineers Album Review

On June 17th,  you can pick up Gray's 10th album Mutineers. Even though Gray has released 10 albums, this is the first time I've heard about him. I have to say I'm not disappointed. Mutineers is said to be "an album that seems to fizz with the joy of it's own assembly and finds Gray steering into an unfamiliar territory while cultivating a pugnacious but respectful relationship with his own history."

Gray is a British singer-songwriter that first got the world's attention with his album entitled White Ladder in 1999. This was the first of three number one albums in the U.K. which helped him get both Brit and Grammy nominations. With his albums Draw The Line(2009) and Foundling(2010) he was able to get into Billboard's US Top 100 albums. 

There are many good songs on Mutineers. My favorite by far is called Back In The World. You can check it out below.

All of his songs are inspirational and tell a story.  His music soothes me and helps me reflect on my own life. Another great example of his amazing storytelling is found in his song As The Crow Flies. You can check out an amazing live version by clicking here.

I love this product! It's the perfect everyday luxury at a fraction of the price. It smells really good and doesn't dry out my skin. It leaves my skin with a silky smooth feeling. The lather is really thick so you don't have to use  a lot of it at a time. It didn't leave a residue on my skin which is a huge plus. It also didn't irritate my skin in any way and I have sensitive skin.

KASHI HUMMUS CRISPS

I've always been a fan of Kashi products since they are known to be healthy and tasty, so I was excited when I got my bag in the mail from BzzAgent. I tried the Sea Salt and Olive Oil flavor. I've been looking for a healthy and tasty snack for awhile and I was not disappointed with this one. They are crunchy, have a great flavor, and are so light. An added bonus is that these crisps contain protein/fiber. If you love the fattening and greasy potato chips these aren't for you, but otherwise these are a must buy.
